The Shoppers Master Credit Card is in summary a rewards credit card that gives opportunity to consumers interested in earning points for discount spending. It offers a competitive APR on purchases as well as an intro period applied towards balance transfers and cheque cash advances.
On the reward program, cardholders will receive 15,000 bonus points after making their first purchases. Subsequent purchases attract 5 points per dollar spent. Those expenses at dedicated Shoppers Drug Mart outlets will attract 25 points per dollar spent. Membership into the Shoppers Optimum Program is free for cardholders.
No annual fee is charged.
Additional benefits are 24hr customer support, fraud protection and purchase protection. Internet access with downloadable statements and real-time account monitoring are available at no extra cost. Cardholders may also order to authorize an extra user with an additional card incurring no extra cost.
