Individuals wishing to take advantage of this offer must reside in Canada and have a total annual household income exceeding $35,000. Most important of all is to have good credit as prior bankruptcy or severe delinquencies are not a good sign.
The 0 for 10 in its name comes from an introductory Apr period during which 0% interest is charged on balance transfers and cheque cash advances throughout a 10 month period. This could be highly encouraging for a cardholder having balance on another card charging much higher rates. Purchase transactions do not partake in the intro period. Just like many other MBNA Canada cards, this charges a fixed interest rate on applicable transactions throughout ones membership period.
