Eco-Logique MasterCard credit card is ideal for cardholders who want to give towards greenhouse gas reduction efforts. With this credit card, cardholders contribute sizeable amounts without affecting the card balance. Through the rewards program cardholders earn a carbon offset point per $1 spent on net retail purchases. These points are automatically redeemed by MBNA Canada to be used to purchase carbon offset certificates or credits issued by organizations or companies.
New cardholders are entered into a 6 month introductory APR period during which very low interest rates are incurred on balance transfers and cheque cash advances.
Additional card benefits are 24hr fraud protection and zero fraud liability. Online account management provides the right opportunity for cardholders to learn of their card balances, charges and other deductions made at any time of the day. The online interface also provides an online bill payment feature enabling cardholders pay their bills without stress.
